Chat With A Facebook Representative

Say what? Yes, you can actually chat with another human being or a Facebook representative to sort out your page, group or ad-related headache and I’ll show you how in a second. I’m Sabine, by the way. If you haven’t done so yet, please subscribe to my channel and hit the bell to be the first to know when there’s a fresh video where I’ll share the best marketing strategies to grow your coaching business online. Whenever I experienced an issue with Facebook in the past and looked for help, I felt completely lost in a maze of outdated articles that didn’t address my problem. And whenever I thought that I found THE place to get in touch with them, I realised that it was one of their standard forms that most likely never made it in front of a human being. Until I discovered how I could chat with them and talk with a real person. In this video, I’ll share the link that you need to initiate the chat, their opening hours (because the chat feature isn’t available 24/7) and the details you need at hand to get you lined up in the chat queue asap. What I’ll share in this video has helped hundreds of my coaching clients to keep their sanity, especially during launches. So I hope this video is valuable for you too. But first things first. So here’s the link to get started.

The page should land on, looks like this one here. Facebook offers help to various topics such as fundamentals, ads, pages, billing, and so on. If you click one of those, they throw a lot of help articles your way. Sometimes that’s all you need, but most often not. So let’s ignore those. Now here’s the section we’re really interested in. You can see it doesn’t really stand out, so when you scroll fast, it’s easy to miss. If you don’t see the section, check that you’re logged into Facebook and that you’re looking for help at the right time. Remember, I told you that the chat feature isn’t available all the time… So you might have just tried it when they’re offline. Come back to this page at another time. Their office hours, at least right now are Mondays to Fridays between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Central time or UTC-5. Or, if you live in Asia or Australia, they’re available Mondays to Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM or UTC+8; so it looks like they’re operating from different support centres. But fingers crossed that you can see what I see right now. To get you lined up, click “Get Started”.

Select the category you need help with: either policy and account security, billing and payments, business pages, ad management tools, ads or measure and improve results. Let’s assume we have trouble with our business page, so click here. If you see your problem listed here, click it. You will land on a page like this one, get some tips, and if it’s not helpful, you can click the “chat with a representative” box in the sidebar here. Should your problem not be listed, scroll down and click the “chat with a representative” box here. Fill in the form – most of it should be pre-filled, especially if you’re already logged into Facebook. Just make sure that you select the correct ad account. Yep, you need to do this even if it’s not an ad related issue. And then select the Facebook page linked to your annoyance. Finally, describe briefly what’s not working or what do you need help with and click “Start

Chat”. You’ll be redirected to Messenger. They ask you to click “Get Started” again. Do this within the app. Then describe your issue again, and you should get the answers you’re looking for. Did you ever run into trouble using Facebook in the past and wish you could talk to a real person? What was it all about? Let me know in the comments below. By the way, they’re super friendly and keen to help you, but be prepared to spend some time chatting depending on the solution you’re after. Happy chatting. Now, if you liked this video, please give it a thumbs up and share it with your friends or peers. Also, check out my other videos here on YouTube because they’re all about how you can grow your coaching business online. Bye for now and I’ll see you in the next one.
