This article designates Dell laptops and desktops that have been tested for update to Windows Update (build 22H2), as well as upgrade to Windows 11. If your device is not listed below, Dell will not test the device and drivers will not be upgraded for that model. If your device ships with a specific version of Windows 11, drivers are available for that version and testing is not necessary.

Use the PC Health Check app to see if your computer meets the minimum requirements to run Windows 11. Certain models have multiple CPU options, and only options that meet Microsoft PC Health Check requirements have been tested for upgrade. For detailed information about support and system requirements for Windows 11 on Dell devices, including TPM requirements, refer to Dell KB article, “Windows 11 – Scope of Support and System Requirements”.

For more information about Windows 11, refer to Dell’s Windows 11 learning page, or see Microsoft’s Windows 11 page for features.

Note: To satisfy regulatory requirements, computer models marked below with an asterisk (*) do NOT meet TPM requirements if they were shipped to the People’s Republic of China.

There are two options to determine your Dell computer model:

Option 1: Use the Dell Service Tag Detect Tool
Browse to the Dell Support Website and use either SupportAssist to detect your product type, or the search box under Search Support. If you know your Service Tag, enter it in the box provided.
You will be taken to your computer model product page.

Option 2: Check the System BIOS
To check your computer model in the computer’s BIOS, restart your computer and tap the F2 key repeatedly at the Dell logo screen. The first page of the BIOS should show the specific computer model.
