MHL Supported Smartphones List Updated
MHL-supported smartphones list as of today, Mobile High Definition Link is the old standard of
getting display-out via MHL compatible smartphones/gadgets and embedded in Micro-USB.
The term MHL is referred to as USB 3.1, which means you have to search for Type C 3.1 powered
smartphones.
MHL supported smartphones? How to check?
The only way to check MHL (USB 3.1) is via the specifications of a particular smartphone or
device.
As I said in the YouTube video, 3.1 gen1 is the USB standard, which means you can see the same
with USB Type-A and Type-B.
Nowadays all smartphone devices are packed with Type-C 2.0, which doesn’t support displayout via HDMI, that’s why we need Type C 3.1 gen1.
If you want to understand this gen1, gen2, type c 3.1, 2.0, etc then watch this video.
