JOB SUMMARY:

This is a Senior Clerk position in the General Tax Administration Program, Return and Revenue Processing, Incoming Mail Unit. The incumbent processes documents and correspondence related to the daily operations of mail services and revenue processing for the Florida Department of Revenue. The incumbent operates a variety of mail machinery and equipment and communicates with internal and external customers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

* Clerical experience e.g., opening/sorting/routing mail, inventory control, quality assurance review, proofreading, or record keeping.
* Experience in customer service correcting errors, providing information, processing orders, or taking orders.

SPECIAL NOTES:

* This position requires continuous standing, lifting, and stooping at any time during your work schedule (with or without accommodation).
* This position requires the ability to lift 40 pounds (with or without accommodation).

SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $2,600.00 monthly/$31,200.00 annually.
